I have read 269 books – so you don’t have to.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝟲 books 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

A well-researched non-fiction book is the single most info-dense piece of culture in existence, full stop.

Some author spent a few years — hell, a decade, sometimes — gathering material, sifting through it, then presenting you with the absolute most crucial stuff.

So little else in life is so altering as reading widely.

1️⃣ The Art of the Good Life by Rolf Dobelli
The good life is only achieved through constant readjustment. The ability to self-correct is growing ever more important, even though it’s hardly taught at school. 52 practices towards the art of correction by revising the things that aren’t quite working – swiftly & without feeling guilty.

2️⃣ The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel
Financial success is not a hard science. It’s a soft skill, where how I behave is more important than what I know.
If you can get the goalpost of lifestyle desires to stop moving at a young age, you have won.

3️⃣ Intentionally Becoming Different by Alexander Trost
“Life can be so easy once we stop trying so hard to complicate it.”
While we are, by nature, human beings, it takes effort to naturally be human. The quality of our life is a result of the quality of our thoughts. And we all can start to live a life we don’t need leave from.

4️⃣ The Ministry For The Future by Kim Stanley Robinson
Hard science fiction novel. Gripping & hard-to-swallow account of our bleak future. The current speed of extinction is now several thousand percent faster than in history. We are in the midst of the Sixth Mass Extinction Event in Earth’s history.
But each one of us has one-eighth of a billionth the power to avoid it.
(the audiobook is highly recommended)

5️⃣ Die With Zero by Bill Perkins
What do you want to last longer, your money or your life?
Spending more money on certain items in the second half of my life may add years to my longevity.
I decided that it’s better to live rich than to die rich.

6️⃣ Infectious Generosity – Chris Anderson (Creator of TED)
Giving feels better than taking. Volunteerism always works. It means engaging with our communities, stepping away from social media distractions & actively solving problems.
Are you going to be a positive Difference Maker today?

Diet isn’t just what you eat; it’s what you watch, read, who you follow, & who you spend time with.
You are what you consume.
Your inputs create your mindset.
Your mindset creates your reality.

It’s a simple idea, but if you really live by it, it transforms everything.

You can eat kale & drink green smoothies all day, but if you’re consuming toxic relationships, negative media, or unhelpful thoughts, it affects your mind & body.

Your mental & emotional diet matters as much as, if not more than, the food on your plate.

Now, which book altered you the most recently?
